Who We Are
The Mossholders Story
Mossholders has been a staple of the Sheridan, Wyoming economy for over a century.
Locally owned, operated and invested in the community!
Founded in 1909 by the Mossholder family, Mossholders has always provided home furnishings to Sheridan and the surrounding areas.. In 1979, Leo Mossholder sold the business to Bert and Carol Hammond, the first time the business left the Mossholder family.
In January of 2016, Sheridan native, Aaron Ligocki purchased the assets of the business from the Hammonds. Aaron continues with the Mossholders name and strives to provide the best shopping experience. Aaron lives in Sheridan with his wife and three active children. Aaron’s wife, Katie is co-founder/co-owner of Core Physical Therapy in Sheridan. The couple spend their time away from their businesses watching and coaching their children’s sports. When they are not in a gym or on a sports field, the family explores the beautiful Bighorn Mountains.
